Mumbai, India (CWBN)_ Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan, whose truthful posts about everyday life often trend on social media platforms, shared her feelings about moving out with her fans. Earlier in July, Ira Khan shifted to a new house, following which she wrote about enjoying the “I’m home” feeling in one of her latest Instagram posts. Sharing a selfie, she wrote: “I shifted in July and I felt like it hadn’t really hit me that I had a new home… that I was living on my own”.

On Friday, Ira said that after returning home at the end of the day she had a realization that she felt complete. “Today I came home and that’s what I was thinking ‘I’m home.’ It’s nice feeling,” she said.

Ira announced that she had shifted houses in an earlier Instagram post from July. “Look at my new home,” she said, posting an image of herself relaxing at a reading table. Since then, Ira has been sharing glimpses of her new house and her new room, particularly of her “favorite corner”.

On World Mental Health Day in October, Ira Khan revealed on social media that she had battled depression for more than four years. She posted a video where she said, “I have decided to take you on a journey – my journey – and see what happens. Hopefully, we’ll get to know ourselves and understand mental illness slightly better”.

Ira Khan is the youngest of the two children of Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta. Ira studied music, while her brother Junaid assists his father in film direction. Aamir Khan later married Kiran Rao, a filmmaker, and the couple are now parents to Azad, who is now nine years old. Ira made her directorial debut with a theatrical version of Euripides’ Medea which starred Hazel Keech in the titular role. The play premiered in numerous cities across India in December last year.
