NIGERIA (COMMONWEALTH UNION) – In today’s day and age technology is key. As we move towards the future it is only normal that we also equip ourselves with the knowledge needed to make it in the future.

Gone are the days where it took 5 business days to get a letter now it has come to a point where a paper and pen is not even needed to write the said letter. You can have a board meeting in your hotel room and not in your board room. You can buy you groceries, plan a holiday, get and education all sitting in the comfort of your own home because technology afford us the comfort to do so.

The younger generation is coming to the point of developing newer way to use this technology to make life even easier in the future but of course there is a price that you pay.

When it comes to Nigeria, they have a National Information Technology Development Agency. This agency is the one that usually tests out programmes for the youth of the country to take part in so that they can have a better knowledge of how they need to face the future of technology.

But it seems that there is a little trouble in technology paradise as NITDA has flagged off a scheme given by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support.

The scheme has been put froward to bring more technology-based business and education in to the country which will in turn help the youth to make the country better economically. But sometimes these things don’t go the way it is needed to go.

There is a million possibility for there to be misgivings about such schemes but one will not find out over – night. Although it seems that Nigeria does seem serious about the decision their government has taken.
