Jaguar Land Rover the latest automaker to be impaired by ongoing crisis

SOLIHULL, UK (CU)_During the first half of the 2021-22 financial year, the global chip shortage had a significant impact on luxury carmaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), who suffered a loss of nearly £4 billion in incremental revenues. Nevertheless, the company appeared to have bounced back from the previous downturn, on track to increase its annual volume up to 370,000 units by the end of the current fiscal year, from 84,442 and 64,032 units in the first and second quarters.
