New York, USA (CWBN)_ Kamala Harris, the Democratic Vice President candidate of the US election 2020, is the first African-American woman to be chosen for the post and she also of Indian origin. Kamala has been on the headlines in the recent past for her debate with Pence and many other notable reasons. Being a person of Indian origin, Kamala has always reflected positively on her Indian roots. Recently, Kamala Harris answered some interesting questions put forward by her Instagram followers, where she shared some interesting facts too. The video was shared in Twitter and made viral rounds in the social media.

Kamala Harris was asked by one of her followers about her favorite Indian dishes. She replied that she has separate choices for North Indian and South Indian dishes. She said “So South Indian, it would be Idliwith… a really good Sambar, and then North Indian – probably any kind of Tikka.” She said that earlier along with Mindy Kaling, actor- producer, she had cooked delicious Masal Dosa.

Kamala Harris said that she loves cooking and that is one of her favorite pastimes. She also said that she is teaching her husband Doug Emhoff on how to cook. Another follower asked her how she takes care of her mental health during the campaign times. Kamala answered saying “I work out every morning, FaceTime with all the kids in my life. I love to cook when I’m able and I’m actually also teaching Doug how to cook although that may not be good for my mental health.”

Kamala regularly shares some of her childhood stories and interesting facts. With this video, she has also inspired other Indian-origin candidates to share their favorite Indian foods. In response, Indian-American Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal shared a pic of her favorite Indian dish Paneer Tikka Masala in Twitter.
