Karwa Chauth 2020: Abhishek Bachchan revealed that he kept a fast for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

MUMBAI, India (CWBN)_ The famous Bollywood actors of the Bachchan family Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are one of the adorable couples of B town. As the Karwa Chauth pooja, one of the best traditions of Indian culture where the couples fast for each other’s well being and celebrate with family, was celebrated across the country recently, the B town celebrities too shared their experience on social media. Abhishek Bachchan revealed in an interview that he kept a fast for Aishwarya Rai this Karwa Chauth. He said that they were busy with their work and current projects the whole day and celebrated Karwa Chauth in the evening and the family had a quite nice time in the evening when the ladies performed their Karwa Chauth pooja.

Abhishek said fasting along with wife Aishwarya on the auspicious Karwa Chauth occasion was a good experience and has become a ritual for him every year. He also encouraged the other men to fast for their wives during the Karwa Chauth. In 2018 also, the actor posted the same in Twitter saying “#KarvaChauth, good luck ladies…. And the dutiful husbands who should also be fasting with their wives! I do.”

Karwa Chauth pooja is a special tradition in Hindu culture where the married women keeps fast for their husbands’ well being and long life. They fast from the morning to late in the evening and perform their Karwa Chauth pooja by worshipping the rising moon and seek blessings for a happy married life along with their husbands. This tradition builds the love the couple has for each other.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai tied the knot in 2007. The couple have a beautiful daughter Aaradhya Bachchan who was born in 2011. In terms of work, the couple is one of the best onscreen pair and have romanced in number of movies such as Guru, Kuch Naa Kaho, Umrao Jaan and Raavan. Abhishek is currently busy with his project Ludo. It seems that the couple is yet to announce their new film together.
