Mumbai, India (Commonwealth Union)_ As a custom, Bollywood is celebrating Karwa Chauth with their families. Anil Kapoor’s wife Sunita Kapoor, who annually celebrates the Karwa Chauth festival at her home in Mumbai, also held a pooja and invited all her industry friends. The celebrity spouse posted a few photos from her celebrations on her Instagram account. The pictures featured her pooja as well as her celebrations with the B town stars. Sharing the images, she wrote about her belief in the festival.
Sunita penned, “I’ve always believed that festivals are about belief, faith and tradition. Karwa Chauth isn’t just a day of fasting for your husband’s long life, it’s also a day for women to come together to celebrate each other. So wherever you are, and whatever your belief and faith might be, I hope you have a day filled with love, warmth and celebrations!”
Sunita posted three images. The first image is a group portrait of all the beautiful women who took part in the festivities. The first picture featured Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Padmini Kolhapure, Akanksha Malhotra, Rima Jain, and Natasha Dalal, wife of Varun Dhawan. The second photograph featured Sunita Kapoor in a yellow kurta combo sitting alongside Shilpa Shetty. Shilpa is seen wearing an exquisite red saree. The third photograph featured the celebrity wife posing with her sister-in-law Maheep Kapoor and co-stars Neelam Kothari and Bhavana Pandey from Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
Padmini Kolhapure, a veteran actor who was also part of Sunita’s celebrations, posted a video on her Instagram account. The clip is a combination of photographs and videos from the celebration. Padmini shared the photo with the comment: “Great Pooja Karwa Chauth, best hostess Sunita Kapoor.” Shilpa Shetty also posted a couple photos from the event on her Instagram stories. Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and Harsh Vardhan Kapoor are the children of Sunita Kapoor and her husband, Anil Kapoor.
