NAIROBI, Kenya (CU)_Kenya is one of the world’s top tea exporters, and according to a new analysis released on Monday, the industry is set to be destroyed by the global climate crisis over the next few decades. Citing a peer-reviewed study, the charity Christian Aid highlighted how rising temperatures, insect infestation, erratic rainfall and droughts would threaten Kenya’s tea production and its key black tea crop in particular.
