Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal passes away at 49!

Mumbai, India (CU)_ Bollywood film producer and actress Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal, who is 49, passed away on Wednesday morning. Director Onir, who collaborated with Raj Kaushal in the film My Brother Nikhil, informed his death on social media and posted his condolences. He wrote, “Gone too soon. We lost filmmaker and producer Raj Kaushal this morning. Very sad. He was one of the producers of my first film My Brother Nikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.” More information about Raj Kaushal’s death is pending.

Raj Kaushal spent the weekend with a group of friends, including Neha Dhupia, who took to Instagram and wrote, “We shot this photo, Raj, in order to make more and more memories. I can’t believe you’re no longer with us. I’m at a loss for words when it comes to Mandira, my strong, powerful kid. Vir and Tara have a special place in my heart. As I type this, I’m shaken, shocked, and in disbelief. RIP Raj.”

Actress Tisca Chopra tweeted, “Cannot believe Raj Kaushal isn’t with us any more… Just so shocking. My heart goes out to Mandira Bedi and her two lovely kids RIP our happy smiling Raj… Your gentle soul will be missed”. Raj Kaushal and Mandira Bedi tied the knot in 1999, and their son Vir was born in 2011. Mandira and Raj Kaushal adopted 4-year-old Tara into their family in July last year. The couple had previously disclosed their desire to adopt a daughter. Raj Kaushal was a multi-talented person with faces of film producer, writer, and director who directed films such as Pyaar Mein Kabhie Kabhie, Shaadi Ka Ladoo, and Anthony Kaun Hai. He started off as a copywriter and founded his own advertising production firm in 1998 and has since directed over 800 advertisements. He funded the film My Brother… Nikhil, which was released in 2005.
