Mining Exhibition Held in Iran!

The 11th International Exhibition on Investment Opportunities in Iran’s Mines and Mining Industries kicked off at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Grand Prayer Campus (Mosalla) last week!

Companies from 25 countries, including South Africa, Germany, China, Turkey, Russia, England, Japan, Spain, South Korea, Holland and Italy participated in this grand event for mining professionals and displayed their products.

Industry experts along with Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade, Parliament, Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), House of Industry, Mining and Trade, heads of related unions, miners and ambassadors from multiple countries around the world graced the event in order to speculate the investment scope within the industry.

Having 81 different types of minerals, Iran is one of the top 10 mineral-rich countries across the globe. As a result of which, the Iranian government is pursuing several events and initiatives for encouraging the mining sector as a huge contributing factor to the country’s economic growth. This exhibition therefore marked a milestone in the attempt and the ideal place for Iranian mining to gain exposure and interact with experts worldwide.

130 booths were propped up at the event and henceforth, the exhibition earned the title of being one of the most prestigious events ever to have been hosted by Iran, and West Asia as a whole. This gave them an edge in the industry and a prospective future to look forward to with regard to mineral mining in Iran.
