Europe UK (Commonwealth Union) – During the inaugural overseas visit of UK Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden since assuming office last year, the United Kingdom and Singapore have solidified their commitment to spearhead advancements in government utilization of data and emerging technologies. A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement was signed, fostering deeper research collaboration and regulatory cooperation between the two nations.

These momentous agreements were established during Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden’s meeting with Singapore’s Minister Josephine Teo. The signing ceremony brought together representatives from the UK’s Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology and Singapore’s Ministry of Communications and Information, as well as the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office.
