travel has still not gone back to pre-pandemic bliss. It is highly unlikely that anything will ever be as normal as pre pandemic but the new normal isn’t as bad as people may have thought.
Although the period of 2020 to late 2021 was a little difficult and hard to adjust people are now happier as life is not as bleak as expected. True we may not be able to travel the way we used to and there are still some restrictions and requirements that need to be taken care of before one can travel the silver lining is that you can still travel!
Now this is where the travel agents come in and help out. Because of this kind of service for the tourism sector the Highland based Murray Travel won the award for Luxury Travel Agency of the Year at the TTG Luxury Travel Awards at a ceremony in London recently.
The firm is based in Inverness but recently opened a location in Elgin and plans for a third location are already in place for Forres.

Murray Travel was established in 2014 by husband and wife team Scott and Sarah Murray.
Mr Murray added: “We want our customers to enter a luxurious, holiday frame of mind from the moment they walk into one of our travel boutiques. Instead of being greeted by rows of desks and stands of brochures, they instead are welcomed with a coffee or a drink from our bar.”
