Global (Commonwealth Union) – Today is National Telephone Day is celebrated each year on April 25th to commemorate the invention of the telephone, one of the most revolutionary communication devices in history. Back in 1876 when Alexander Graham Bell made the first successful telephone call to his assistant, Thomas Watson, with the now-famous words, “Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you.”
