Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Actor Nayanthara received an extraordinary birthday surprise this year as her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, gifted her a Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre worth nearly ₹10 crore. Photos of the new car, shared online soon after the celebration, quickly drew attention from fans. The couple marked Nayanthara’s 41st birthday with a quiet family gathering, where the luxury vehicle was unveiled. Vignesh posted several pictures on Instagram showing the family standing beside the newly purchased Spectre.
In his caption, he expressed his affection for Nayanthara and gratitude for the life they share, writing that he felt blessed by “abundant love” and “unwavering positivity.” The couple, who married in 2022, are parents to twin boys, Uyir and Ulag, both of whom can be seen in the photographs sitting on the car’s hood. Meanwhile, Nayanthara continues to stay busy with more than a dozen films across multiple languages, including Dear Students, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, Mannangatti Since 1960, Patriot, Mookuthi Amman 2, Hi, and Rakkaiyie.

The following year, he surprised her again with a Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600, priced at around ₹5 crore. The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre marks the latest, and most expensive, addition to the couple’s growing collection of high-end vehicles. The Black Badge Spectre, introduced in India earlier this year, is one of the most advanced models in the Rolls-Royce lineup. It carries a 102 kWh battery pack and delivers 659 hp and 1,075 Nm of torque, sent to all four wheels.

With its enhanced performance mode, the car gains an additional 82 hp and 175 Nm over the standard version, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. The electric coupe offers a range of roughly 493 to 530 kilometers on a full charge and comes fitted with striking 23-inch forged wheels. True to Rolls-Royce tradition, the Spectre features the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy and the signature Pantheon grille finished in polished black. Buyers can choose from an extensive palette of 44,000 exterior colors, and the cabin includes a “starlit” interior with 5,500 illuminated elements.
