Health international will now manage the international health insurance policies, such as claims processing and customer service. Now Health International’s outstanding digital tools will continue to be available to all members.

Now Health International’s Managing Director, Zahir Sharif, shared his views about the new partnership. He said, “At Now Health International we are committed to further building our presence in Europe and have ambitions to expand into new markets across the region. Starr Insurance Companies, with over 100-years of heritage, expertise and existing presence across global markets, is a well-placed partner to help us achieve this goal”.

Under the new collaboration, Now Health International will provide its current products to members throughout Europe, including its flagship, benefit-rich WorldCare product and its more economical SimpleCare product for individuals seeking basic health coverage. It was also informed that no changes will be made to plan benefits, pricing, or customer service under this agreement.

Now Health International’s former partnership with AXA PPP Healthcare has been replaced by the new program. To enable a smooth shifting for the existing members, a runoff period will be implemented until December 31, 2021, allowing members to smoothly transfer to the new Starr Insurance Companies arrangement at their next plan renewal.

Now Health International’s Chief Commercial Officer, Michel Faucher, expressed optimism and hope over the collaboration. He said, “We are very excited about our new relationship and the opportunities it presents for us in the long term. I also want to reassure our members and partners that there will be complete continuity under the new arrangements, with the same market-leading plans and benefits, high standards of service, and state of the art digital tools our European customer base have come to expect”.

Chief of International Accident & Health for Starr, Santiago Mora, expressed delight over the new partnership. He said, “We’re excited to be the insurance provider for Now Health International, one of the fastest growing providers of medical insurance solutions for global expatriates”.
