Pharma companies urge Soludo to investigate drug supply at health centers

Abuja, Nigeria (CU)_ St. Toby Pharmaceutical Limited and the CCS Voluntary Support Group members expressed their wishes to Prof. Charles Soludo on his victory in the Anambra Governorship elections, and also urged him to focus on medicine supply and distribution in the state’s health centers. The statement conveyed the wishes to the newly elected leader. It said, “We deliberately waited for this time to be sure the rush is over to send this our heartfelt congratulations to you.” According to the organizations, the results of the elections were peaceful, free, fair, and trustworthy. The statement said, “We rejoice with you because your well-deserved victory is the choice of Anambrarians who have now put a round peg in a round hole in the governance of the state.”

The corporations stated that they had great expectations from Soludo as key investors in Igboland’s affairs. They expressed their expectations in the statement. They said, “We expect to see a quantum leap in the economic transformation of the state as a template for the Southeast. We expect to see the development of human capital especially in the productive sector of the economy.”

Additionally, being members of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), they urged him to investigate the state’s health sector, particularly the ongoing medicine supply and distribution to the state’s primary healthcare facilities.
