PM Modi wishes President Biden on the country’s 246th Independence Day!

New Delhi, India (CU)_ Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his Independence Day greetings to US President Joe Biden on the United States’ 246th Independence Day. In addition to Biden, PM Modi also expressed his best wishes to Vice President Kamala Harris and the American citizens. PM Modi tweeted, “On the 246th Independence Day of the United States of America, my warm greetings and felicitations to @POTUS @JoeBiden, @VP @KamalaHarris and the people of the USA”.

Biden along with other former presidents celebrated the special day on July 4th as the United States celebrated its freedom. President Biden took to Twitter and wrote, “The Fourth of July is a sacred day in our country – it’s a time to celebrate the goodness of our nation, the only nation on Earth founded based on an idea: that all people are created equal. Make no mistake, our best days still lie ahead”.

Former President Barack Obama took to Twitter and honored the United States military and their families for their service and contribution to the nation. Obama wrote, “Happy Fourth of July! As we celebrate today, let’s thank our armed forces and their families for their service to our country. And let’s recommit to fighting for our democracy–there’s still so much work to be done to perfect our union”.

Former President Donald Trump also greeted the nation on the special day. On his Truth Social account, he wrote, “It’s not looking good for our Country right now”. Trump highlighted the rising inflation and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war and wrote, “none of these terrible events would have happened if I were president.”

Declaration of Independence is observed on 4th of July which was ratified on fourth July 1776 by the Second Continental Congress, which established the United States of America. Independence Day is generally commemorated with festivities such as fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, sports and games, family get togethers, political speeches, and other joyful events. Apart from these events, there will be several public and private activities honoring the history, governance, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the United States’ national day.
