M.R. Rangaswami, an Indian-American venture capitalist, was named the state of Tamil Nadu’s “Investment Ambassador”.
According to the release, Kishor Mehta, Chairman of MEATF Emeritus, claimed that Tamil Nadu has recently made significant progress in attracting global investment as a result of the efforts made by IAS officer T. Muruganandam, who was previously the industries secretary of the state and now promoted to the finance secretary of the state. Muruganandam’s practical and comprehensive leadership was also appreciated by Chief Minister Stalin.

Apart from being an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, investor, corporate eco-strategy expert, community builder and philanthropist, Rangaswami is also the founder of Indiaspora, which is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to unify the Indian diaspora and convert their achievement into meaningful influence in India and throughout the world. According to the statement, Indiaspora connects the professionally, geographically, and religiously varied Indian American community towards collective action by exchanging thoughts, conducting events, and connecting individuals.
Dr. VGP, an Indian American community leader and head of the World Federation of Tamil Youth in Chicago, United States of America, wished CM Stalin for the appointment and stated that under Rangaswami’s leadership, Tamil Nadu will soon surpass all other states in India in terms of industrialization. Rangasawami was also praised by Neil Khot, national chairman of the Indian American Business Coalition in Washington, D.C. He commended Rangasawami on his appointment, stating that he is an outstanding and a fit pick who is capable of achieving results.
