NIGERIA – A pastor, Segun Adebisi, has been discovered dead in an uncompleted building in Kubwa area of Abuja. This caused shock waves in the community as he was popular amongst the people for being a pastor of the people.

There were many media outlets that covered the story but it was that POLITICS NIGERIA learned that the pastor had been declared missing, only for his lifeless body to be found at the weekend. The pastor supposedly had no known enemies and had a wealth of friend.

His body had injuries on the head, indicative that he was hit with some of the firewood found close to the body. This seemed very much like a pre-planned crime as he did not look like he had struggled.

Fear has gripped residents of Abuja and the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) over rising insecurity in the nation’s capital.

A few months ago, the FCT Administration raised the alarm that criminals being forced out of key Northern states are relocating to towns around Abuja.

Violent attacks by lawbreakers in so many of the satellite towns such as Bwari, Kuje and Gwagwalada have resulted in many deaths and many people have also been kidnapped.
