Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ The Indian film industry has come together in a powerful show of solidarity, lauding the Armed Forces for their decisive action in Operation Sindoor, a precision military strike conducted in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack. Prominent voices from across Indian cinema hailed the operation and expressed their admiration for the armed forces on various social media platforms, reflecting a unified spirit of national pride and support. The operation, executed in the early hours of Wednesday, took place just 14 days after the brutal assault in Baisaran, a well-known tourist destination in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pahalgam region.

The attack, attributed to terror groups allegedly operating from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), claimed the lives of 26 civilians. In response, Indian forces targeted key terror infrastructure in areas long suspected of harboring Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) operatives, including Muridke, Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad. The strike was conducted with surgical precision, avoiding civilian and Pakistani military installations. Following news of the successful operation, Indian celebrities across languages and regions took to social media to express their unwavering support for the Armed Forces and the government’s strong response.

Accordingly, Superstar Rajinikanth voiced his patriotic fervor with a resolute post on X, writing, “The fighter’s fight begins… No stopping until the mission is accomplished! The entire NATION is with you. #OperationSindoor JAI HIND.” Additionally, fellow South Indian icons Mammootty and Mohanlal also shared poignant messages. Mammootty praised the Army’s bravery, stating, “#OperationSindoor proved again, when the nation calls, the #IndianArmy answers.” Mohanlal honored the symbolic power of ‘sindoor’, saying, “We wore sindoor not just as a tradition, but as a symbol of our unwavering resolve.”

Telugu cinema stalwarts Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, and Jr NTR echoed similar sentiments. Allu Arjun declared, “May justice be served. Jai Hind.” Jr NTR prayed for the safety and strength of Indian soldiers, while Chiranjeevi simply posted “Jai Hind” alongside an image shared by the Indian Army, amplifying the visual impact of the operation’s message. From Bollywood, responses were swift and emotional. Actor Riteish Deshmukh posted a stirring message: “Jai Hind Ki Sena… Bharat Mata Ki Jai!!!!! #OperationSindoor.” Akshay Kumar, known for his patriotic roles, tweeted: “Jai Hind Jai Mahakaal,” saluting the courage of the armed forces.

 

Sonu Sood summed up the sentiment of justice served with a brief post: “Justice Is Served! Jai Hind.” Actress Kangana Ranaut, a consistent supporter of national causes, shared footage of the operation’s impact on her Instagram story, writing: “Unhone kaha tha Modi ko bata dena. Aur Modi ne inko bata diya #OperationSindoor.” Veteran actor Anupam Kher also lent his voice to the chorus, stating “Bharat Mata Ki Jai #OperationSindoor.” Adding to the tide of support, Paresh Rawal used a silent yet powerful gesture by posting folded hand emojis and tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

Meanwhile, Prakash Raj, known for his outspoken views, expressed gratitude toward the armed forces, declaring, “India will never tolerate terrorism. Salute to our real heroes!” Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu joined the movement by sharing an Operation Sindoor poster on her Instagram story, aligning herself with fellow celebrities expressing national pride. Among the younger generation, actor Vijay Deverakonda emphasized a message of hope and peace, writing, “Looking forward to a future where the words ‘terror’ and ‘attacks’ do not exist.” His post highlighted the broader yearning for harmony, even amid celebration of military success.

 

According to official sources, the operation successfully targeted nine terror camps, resulting in the elimination of over 80 terrorists. The precision and restraint shown during the mission, particularly in avoiding civilian casualties, have been widely praised both nationally and internationally.
