Ranveer Singh celebrates his 10 years in Bollywood

       Mumbai, India (CWBN)_ The popular Bollywood star Ranveer Singh made his debut in the 2010 film Band Baaja Baaraat, which was released in December 10. On Thursday, Ranveer Singh successfully marked 10 years in Bollywood. The 35-year-old star glorified his special day by visiting the “sacred chamber of dreams” – a cinema hall. To remember his first step in Bollywood, Ranveer shared a picture of him in the cinema hall, which shows the actor wearing a track suit, 3D glasses and face mask. He wrote alongside: “To commemorate my 10-year-milestone in the movies….it was only fitting that I return to the sacred chamber of dreams. It was marvellous.”

       Ranveer Singh’s debut movie Band Baaja Baaraat which was directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj films was released in December 10, 2010. Anushka Sharma costarred Ranveer Singh in the movie. Ranveer Singh was noted for his electrifying performance in the film.

       Following the movie Band Baaja Baaraat, Ranveer Singh delivered power-packed performances in films such as Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Gully Boy and entered into the league of Bollywood biggies.

       In the 2011 movie Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, he starred as a conman, which featured Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra and Aditi Sharma in the lead roles. Then Lootera was released in 2013. Though the movie was not a box office hit, it was noted as one of the best performances of Ranveer. He made another film named Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela in the same year with Deepika Padukone, whom he later married. Deepika and Ranveer subsequently co-starred in Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Later, Ranveer also featured in movies such as Gunday, Kill Dil, Dil Dhadakne Do and Simmba.

       India officially nominated Ranveer Singh’s 2019 film Gully Boy to the 92nd Oscar Awards. ’83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus are some of the other movies by the actor.
