Rogers Insurance adds Schwartz Reliance Insurance to its partner network

Alberta, Canada (CU)_ Rogers Insurance has announced the addition of broker Schwartz Reliance Insurance to its network of partners. The collaboration comes as a result of Schwartz Reliance Insurance’s recent acquisition of an A-WIN Insurance branch site in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Since 2019, A-WIN Insurance, which is an independent broker, has been a part of the Rogers Insurance Group of Companies.

According to the statement, Rogers Insurance has stayed committed to growing its network of community-focused branch partners situated throughout Western Canada, and this collaboration highlights that commitment. Mitch Holst will act as the subsidiary’s partner after the collaboration agreement and Schwartz Reliance Insurance’s purchase of the A-WIN Insurance office.

Bruce Rabik, chief operating officer of Rogers Insurance, expressed optimism over the partnership with Schwartz Reliance Insurance. He said,  “We are thrilled to have Schwartz Reliance Insurance join the A-WIN branch partner network. Their longevity, reputation and dedication to Southern Albertans is impressive. We know they will continue to provide Medicine Hat residents and businesses with exceptional insurance solutions and customer service.”

John Howe, president of Schwartz Reliance Insurance, expressed hopes over the latest partnership with Rogers Insurance. He said, “Our family has independently owned and operated our business for nearly 40 years. To partner with Rogers Insurance—who has been steadfast in expanding and strengthening the independent brokerage model across Canada—was an opportunity we couldn’t pass on. We look forward to building a strong partnership with Rogers Insurance as well as joining the Canadian Broker Network.”

Schwartz Reliance Insurance is headquartered in Lethbridge, Alberta, and the firm has been operating and offering services in the region for the past 90 years. The broker has multiple service centres in numerous locations including Fort Macleod, Claresholm, Vauxhall, Taber, Coaldale, and Stettler. Rogers Insurance is an executive member of the Canadian Broker Network, which it established in 2002.
