SBI General Arogya Supreme health insurance to provide refill option

Hyderabad, India (CU)_ State Bank of India (SBI) General Insurance introduced the Arogya Supreme health insurance plan recently, which is aimed to provide customers with full insurance coverage, comprising 20 basic and eight extra covers. According to a statement released by SBI General Insurance, the insurance policy offers a broad range of sum insured choices up to INR 5 crores, allowing consumers to choose among three different options.

Customers have three alternatives in this regard: Pro, Plus, and Premium, which are based on the insured amount and coverage elements of the scheme. The health insurance scheme also provides customer-friendly features including recuperation benefit, sum insured refill, compassionate visit, and the option to pick between one to three-year policy terms.

PC Kandpal, MD and CEO of SBI General Insurance Company, highlighted the unique features of ‘Arogya Supreme health policy. He said, ”Arogya Supreme health policy is loaded with a refill feature that enables the policyholder to refill full sum insured if the existing sum insured under the policy is exhausted under any treatment, which is a great relief for the customer”. He continued, ”In today’s scenario, health insurance has become a necessity and not an option. Arogya Supreme, a comprehensive health insurance plan, with reinstatement features and a wide range of sum insured, will enable customers to choose the premium and tenure that suits their needs”.

The nation’s leading lender introduced a collateral-free Kavach personal loan system for COVID-19-impacted families last month. According to SBI, the loan scheme provides the lowest interest rate and is geared specifically at families who are facing financial hardship as a result of the pandemic.
