Shah Rukh Khan donates 20,000 N-95 masks to Kerala to support the state’s battle against coronavirus

Kochi, Kerala (CWBN)_ Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, donated 20,000 N-95 masks to Kerala to support the state’s fight against the deadly coronavirus.

Kerala being one of the most affected states, continues to witness a large number of positive cases, in spite of the government’s healthcare measures. Apart from the support by the state and central government, many NGOs and prominent individuals of the country are also extending their support to the state.

A non-governmental organization (NGO), Mir Foundation, founded by Shah Rukh Khan to support and empower victims of acid attacks, came forward to help the state and donated 20,000 N-95 masks. King Khan’s Mir Foundation has been actively involved in supporting the state governments with healthcare aids to battle away the coronavirus and help the people cope up with the ongoing pandemic.

The reports from regional media said that Shah Rukh Khan along with the actors Indrajith and Rajshri Deshpande are supporting the state’s continuous fight against the Covid 19.

Kerala’s Health Minister, K.K Shailaja, expressed gratitude to Shah Rukh Khan for the timely support and the state government and the fan followers also appreciated the actor. The actor also announced a series of initiative measures to support the people during the pandemic. Earlier, the NGO donated 25,000 PPE kits to the frontline workers of Maharashtra.
