Twitter and shared a post, referring to the title of his famous film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He tweeted, “Kuch kuch hone wala hain, OTT ki duniya mein (something is going to happen in the world of OTT)”.

In response to the post, the internet excitement levels were at an all-time high. Fans were overjoyed that SRK’s supremacy would now include streaming. One ecstatic remark on SRK’s post said, “King Khan ab OTT pe raj karega (King Khan will rule over OTT now)”.
SRK gained support from actor Salman Khan, his friend-turned-enemy-turned-friend-again, who disclosed that SRK+ is a mobile application. Salman replied to the actor’s tweet, writing: “Aaj ki party teri taraf se (the party is on you today). Congrats on your new OTT app, SRK+.” Director Anurag Kashyap wrote on Twitter that he will be partnering on SRK+. He tweeted, “Dream come true! Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+”.

Karan Johar, director of the popular movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Shah Rukh Khan’s best buddy and longtime colleague, took to Twitter to express his excitement. He tweeted, “Biggest news of the year. This is going to change the face of OTT. Super excited”.

Shah Rukh Khan took a self-imposed social media break in 2021 following the arrest of his son Aryan in a narcotics case. Aryan was eventually released on bail after a month long time. SRK returned to public life just lately, releasing many of his advertisements and other social media posts, featuring a preview of his next film Pathaan. Deepika Padukone co-stars with SRK in Pathaan, which is scheduled to premiere in January 2023.
