JAMAICA (Commonwealth Union)_ Shoeaholics is making a bold entrance into Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica. The well-known retail shoe company officially launched its first site at Sovereign Centre. It has a strong reputation for offering stylish women’s shoes and accessories throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

Deryck L. Murray, the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago’s High Commissioner to Kingston, Jamaica, oversaw the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at the chic opening event, which lasted the entire day and featured gifts, food, and delights for customers.

Murray stated it was a wonderful joy and privilege to be a part of the Sovereign Centre inauguration in his welcome speech at the official launch. “Shoeaholics turns 10 this year, which is also a significant milestone for the business. We wish Jillan and the rest of the staff the best of luck in Jamaica. The High Commission is prepared and determined to assist this effort,” he said.

This is the eighth regional location for the brand and the first Shoeaholics store in Jamaica.

Jillan Aimable, the company’s chief executive officer, said that expanding into the Jamaican retail market had long been a goal and a dream of hers. Coming to Kingston was undoubtedly unfamiliar ground for the Shoeaholics team, but the mother of two remarked that the kindness, pride, and charm of Jamaicans made it easier. She said that giving fashionable, reasonably priced options to Jamaican customers had gotten excellent reaction from them. Meeting the demands of the modern Caribbean lady in terms of fashion is always our top focus, and we’re just so glad to work towards that regional goal, one island and one client at a time.

Shops 24 and 25 at the Sovereign Centre on Hope Road in Kingston are home to Shoeaholics Jamaica, which is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm.
