Australia (Common Wealth) _ Australian restaurant Chatkazz, which serves Indian food, has gained notoriety ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned it during a recent trip to Sydney. Speaking to the local Indian community, PM Modi noted that the Commonwealth, cricket, and curries all play a role in fostering good relations between Australia and India. I’ve heard Harris Park’s Chatkazz’s ‘Chaat’ and ‘Jalebi’ are excellent. I want you all to go there with my friend Australian Prime Minister Albanese,” he remarked. The video has gained a lot of attention and comments on social media.
The administration of Chatkaaz is overjoyed with this well-known recommendation.
“When Prime Minister Modi arrived, we gave him eggplant curry, which is a dish that is well-known in Gujarat and is a personal favorite. He really enjoyed the Gujarati delicacy “fafda jalebi” that we also offered. We appreciate that he mentioned Chatkaaz. Mihir Patel, the eatery’s proprietor, told NDTV that out of several places, he recommended ours.
All of the well-known Indian street cuisine, including pav bhaji and masala dosa, is offered at Chatkazz. For the previous ten years, the restaurant has been open in Sydney.
The diners NDTV talked with agreed that the restaurant’s food and ambiance were top-notch.
“This place has incredible meals. Vegetarians will enjoy it here, one of the visitors said. I regularly eat Indian food, I come here every week, and it’s my favorite spot,” added another.
In the Harris Park neighborhood of Sydney, Chatkazz is tucked away in “Little India,” the one-stop shop for everything delectably Indian. As a sign of their goodwill, PM Modi and his Australian colleague Anthony Albanese jointly lay the cornerstone for the Little India gateway in Harris Park during their visit.
