The Co-Chairs of the Ministerial Task Force will hold a press conference immediately after,” PM Lee said in a Facebook post on Sunday.

PM Lee’s speech will be broadcast live on CNA, its website, Facebook, on YouTube and CNA938.

“But please stay calm – no need to stock up on anything!” Lee added.

Singapore announced seven new COVID-19 cases on Sunday afternoon, increasing its total cases to 58,320.

As reported earlier, the last detected COVID-19 cluster, which was found in a migrant worker dormitory, was busted two weeks ago, marking the country virtually Corona virus free, for the first time, ever since the pandemic started.

Singapore has recorded less than 20 new COVID-19 cases each day since Oct 1, and the majority of the infections are detected among newcomers who were given a stay- at-home notice or isolated as soon as they arrived.
