In a resounding display of talent and dedication, twenty-five young soloists from Sri Lanka’s Soul Sounds Academy swept the stage at the 13th Bali International Choir Festival 2024, clinching an impressive tally of 17 gold medals and 8 silver medals across various solo categories. Competing fervently in both the Children’s Solo and Youth Solo divisions, these gifted performers captivated audiences and judges alike with their exceptional musical prowess.
Under the meticulous guidance of acclaimed musician Soundarie David Rodrigo, alongside accomplished vocal trainers Shivanthi Subramaniam and Shenuk Wijesinghe, the Soul Sounds Academy participants delivered performances that were not only technically precise but also emotionally resonant.
