Additionally, Jude Modilim, Executive Director and Divisional Head, Technical, highlighted the technical benefits of the mobile app in a statement and claimed that the app’s features support easy, safe and quick purchase of insurance plans including third-party auto insurance, personal injury insurance, marine insurance, and all-risks insurance policies. He stated that the app will enable consumers to submit and monitor claims easily and quickly, and that it was aimed to assist customers in managing their insurance plans.
According to Jude Modilim, the app had numerous benefits. He said, “Customers and agents can also make use of the insurance wallet on the mobile app while there is also the availability of pins and wallets for agents and brokers in carrying out their transactions on the mobile app”. He added, “Other benefits include automatic and immediate updating of records on the Nigerian Insurance Industry Database, and renewal notifications and reminders of insurance policies”.
