Mumbai, India (CU)_ Sushmita Sen’s younger daughter Alisah turned 13 this year, and the actress has sent a sweet birthday message on that day. The actress posted a series of photographs of Alisah enjoying time with her family on Instagram. Alongside the photographs, she penned a lengthy statement where she expressed her immense love for her daughter.
The former Miss Universe wrote, “Happpyyyyy 13th Birthday to the love of my life!!! ‘Alisah’ means Noble, protected by God & a gift of God…all of which she truly is!!! I continue to proudly witness, the purity of love & the power of divinity in her eyes, in her beliefs, her embrace & mostly importantly, in her actions!!! I am a better person because I am Alisah’s Mother!! To your health & happiness always Shona!!! Didi & I love you infinity!! Maa. Alisah was adopted by Sushmita Sen in 2010.
Sushmita Sen is the single mother of two adopted daughters. She also has an older daughter named Renee, who was adopted by her at the age of six months. Renee also published a sweet message on Instagram, wishing her younger sister. Similar to her mother, she also added a number of photos with her little sister. She referred to her as “little muffin” in the following note.
Renee wrote, “Happyyyyyy 13th birthday little muffin As you enter a new phase in your life, I want you to know I’ve always got your back and I love you more than you love me Go show them what you’re made of May you be blessed with abundant happiness, good health and success always We are so lucky to have you in our lives, not so little one Muuaaaahhh!!!!” In the meantime, on the work front, Sushmita Sen was most recently featured in the Disney+Hotstar online series Aarya.
