(Commonwealth Union)_The wait is over! Cointelegraph’s Historical digital collectibles were finally debuted after a private sale for queue participants. Anyone who wishes to collect NFTs from articles published by the world’s largest crypto news platform can now use the nonfungible token minting tool.
Beginning December 1, all Cointelegraph articles can be minted as NFTs on the Polygon blockchain. Users must go to cointelegraph.com, select an article, and then click the “Collect as NFT” button located underneath the article’s artwork.
All of this dynamic data is combined with satellite data to form a comprehensive package of information that financial institutions can use in a variety of ways, such as adjusting their pricing policy to avoid surprises or developing new innovative products to meet the needs of our time, as well as meeting the ever-increasing supervisory requirements around ESG issues.
Ivan Sokolov, founder of Mintmade and creator of the collectibles, shared his thoughts: “Owning a digital keepsake of an article establishes a new relationship with the narrative. It’s intriguing to observe what people choose to collect – their perception of what’s valuable. The Historical collection allows you to relive different eras of blockchain and Cointelegraph’s history simply by diving into what has previously been collected.”
Those who took part in the private sale have already begun collecting articles as NFTs, choosing their favourite stories and those they believe would be important to put in their Historical NFT collection. Some users have already created collections by compiling stories about major events such as the downfall of Terra and its aftermath, or by documenting Bitcoin’s BTC early history.
In the future, Cointelegraph plans to create a variety of experiences for Historical collectors, such as integrating Web3-native capabilities for NFT holders and offering exclusive drops and campaigns from Cointelegraph’s partners. Furthermore, all token holders will become members of the Historical DAO, a decentralised autonomous organisation. Collectors will be able to vote on key metrics and choose which features to build next.
