Through its new partnership with K-MAN, a well-known worldwide producer of suspension components for vehicles, AUTOBOT AUTOWORKS WLL has opened an entirely new operation in the Qatar off-road automotive industry. In addition to becoming a distributor of K-MAN products, AUTOBOT also plans to create a unique K-MAN Sales and Service Centre. This action establishes AUTOBOT as the principal point of sale, service, and performance tuning of K-MAN products in the Middle East.
While visiting China, Eng. Malik Tawfiq Abu Alwafa (the Chief Executive Officer of Usiaghqer Trading Holding Group, which is AUTOBOT’s holding company) signed the agreement.
Attendance at the formalities for the agreement included senior managers such as Mr Taiyun Jiang, K-MAN’s General Manager; and Mr Akshith Shetty (Chief Operating Officer, UHG & General Manager, AUTOBOT) and demonstrated the significant strategic and operational value that this partnership represents to both companies and their respective customers.
As noted in the announcement, the new AUTOBOT facility will be constructed with strict adherence to K-MAN’s setting techniques, work procedures, and quality control methods; therefore, the facility will include innovative technical expertise along with excellent customer service support. This innovative facility will enable customers who want to enhance performance beyond their vehicle’s manufacturer specifications through performance tuning.
For those interested in adventure and off-roading in Qatar, this announcement not only indicates more than just business growth. AUTOBOT AUTOWORKS has built a solid reputation in providing 4×4 accessories, installation know-how and adventure gear to operators that operate their vehicles over rough desert and other types of harsher terrain. By adding certified K-MAN support into its line-up, AUTOBOT AUTOWORKS is now establishing itself as a regional resource for suspension technology, calibration and vehicle prep.
K-MAN will be providing the company’s product solutions while bringing together a high profile and reputation in the international market. With a high-performance suspension offering to its name, an established footprint within China and an expanding global reach, K-MAN products for automotive manufacturers will be available within those markets as well as in and through other regions. As the relationship between K-MAN and AUTOBOT AUTOWORKS shows, it represents a broader climate shift for automotive-related technologies and brands used in the Middle East, with more and new Chinese OEM automotive products and technologies being introduced on a regular basis into these markets. Therefore, the alliance between K-MAN and AUTOBOT AUTOWORKS is based upon the future of the automotive aftermarket. In addition, this means that there will continue to be an increasing amount of focus on providing and bringing in specialised products, technically based products and performance-based products into the automotive aftermarket sector in the Middle East.
