Anirudh Ravichander, the gifted music director whose compositions played a significant role in elevating “Jailer” to its box office peak, was also honored by Kalanithi Maran with a commendable monetary token. Anirudh’s contribution to the Tamil film’s remarkable achievement was duly acknowledged, and he, too, selected the Porsche, valued at Rs 1.5 crore, as his well-deserved reward. Rajinikanth finds himself basking in the glow of triumph as his latest film, “Jailer,” directed by Nelson, achieved remarkable success at the global box office, amassing a staggering ₹629 crores and showing no signs of slowing down. In recognition of the monumental triumph of “Jailer,” the film’s producer and the chairman of Sun Pictures, Kalanithi Maran, presented the legendary actor with a luxurious BMW X7 automobile.

This grand gesture was captured in a video shared by Sun Pictures on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Rajinikanth was afforded the choice between a BMW X7 and a BMW i7, and he opted for the X7, which commands a price tag of approximately ₹1.3 crore. The video showcases Rajinikanth, adorned in his trademark white kurta pajama, receiving the car’s key from Kalanithi Maran. Sun Pictures’ tweet accompanying the video read, “#JailerSuccessCelebrations continue! Superstar Rajinikanth was shown various car models and Mr. Kalanithi Maran presented the key to a brand-new BMW X7 which Superstar chose.”

In addition to the lavish automobile gift, Rajinikanth was also bestowed with an envelope that contained a substantial cheque amounting to ₹100 crore from Kalanithi Maran. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared an image capturing this moment, asserting that this cheque constitutes a profit-sharing bonus stemming from the success of “Jailer,” and it supplements the actor’s already substantial remuneration of ₹110 crore for his role in the film. In sum, this remarkable bonus elevates Rajinikanth to the status of the highest-paid actor in India, with total earnings reaching ₹210 crore.

Remarkably, even in its fourth week of release, “Jailer” continues to generate profits for all parties involved. Recently, the film raked in more than ₹3 crore, propelling its total earnings thus far to ₹629.06 crore. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan celebrated this ongoing success by stating, “#Jailer WW Box Office The movie is still making profits each & every day for all those involved in it. ||#600CrJailer|#Rajinikanth #ShivaRajKumar | #Mohanlal|| Week 1 – ₹450.80 crore.
