MOYALE, Kenya (CU)_Over the recent years Kenya has been experiencing prolonged droughts, which have left over 2.5 million people in the north on the brink of poverty and starvation. It is not only those living in very arid regions who are struggling with more frequent water scarcity. Even before the drought, an estimated two million Kenyans were reportedly suffering from severe food insecurity.
