The ministry’s recently published COVID-19 guidelines also recommend coriander-infused warm water as a safe dietary practice.

Many nutritionists recommend coriander water to be consumed daily especially during this pandemic period. They advise to consume 1 to 2 cups of coriander water daily due to its major health benefits in fighting infections, heart and brain health, digestion, skincare, body weight, blood sugar and immunity.

According to the nutritionists, coriander water has numerous health benefits. Some of the major benefits are: it is a great relief for the pain of arthritis. It helps in hydrating the body. This also aids in kidney detoxification. It cools the body and aids in the reduction of heat. It prevents a puffy face. It boosts the immunity and a great relief for common cold as well.

The nutritionists also shared the simple recipe of coriander water. To make the healthy coriander water, 1 tablespoon of coriander seeds should be boiled in water for 5 minutes. Simmer until the liquid has been reduced by half. Strain the liquid and drink it. Nutritionists gave a list of benefits of coriander water, and also said that in case of any serious health issues related to kidney, it is recommended to get doctor’s advice before attempting it.
