Nagarjuna and Amala’s daughter in law and Naga Chaitanya’s wife actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to Instagram and wished her father-in-law on his birthday. She wrote, “No words can describe my respect for you. I wish you an abundance of health and happiness, today and always. Happy birthday to the man, the phenomena Nagarjuna mama.”

Nagarjuna’s first wife was Lakshmi Daggubati, who is the daughter of the Telugu filmmaker D. Ramanaidu. In 1986, the couple welcomed their son Naga Chaitanya. In 1992, the couple were divorced and Nagarjuna remarried actress Amala after their divorce. Nagarjuna was her co-star in movies such as Nirnayam and Shiva.
