Bangladehs (Commonwealth) _ To introduce the #ExamReady digital learning initiative, TikTok and the 10 Minute School have partnered. This program aims to make online education and remote learning more accessible to students in grades 8 through 10, especially those pursuing the SSC.

TikTok and 10 Minute School’s partnership will result in over 400 original instructional videos covering topics including chemistry, physics, biology, math, bangla and english grammar, and ICT. Additionally, these videos will offer study advice and exam shortcuts. The initial batch of content is anticipated to debut in October of this year.

TikTok and the 10 Minute School will launch the #ExamReady Scholarship Program in addition to the #ExamReady program. The program seeks to give 15,000 worthy students from all around Bangladesh, including high school students (grades 8–10) and SSC candidates, who make up roughly 10–12 million pupils, online study grants.

The world’s most popular short video platform, TikTok, has long had a significant following in Bangladesh thanks to its ability to link millions of users and content producers there and foster joy and creativity. Ever since TikTok’s journey in Bangladesh began, it has been a wild trip. The site, however, has consistently remained dedicated to raising awareness about issues like children’s safety, women’s empowerment, safe internet use, and responsible online and offline behavior.

TikTok has repeatedly demonstrated that it is a responsible platform that is dedicated to the security and well-being of its varied user community. TikTok is constantly trying to improve and advance security measures to protect users and artists.

In the past, campaigns like #HoiSocheton and #AmraSafeInternetSafe actively promoted and raised awareness of local safety activities. TikTok has increased its safety measures in the nation in more recent times. We examine a few of the most significant ones.

The network has made a determined effort to expand its content moderation team for Bangladesh in order to make sure that offensive films that violate its Community Guidelines are swiftly removed, typically before they are seen by other users on the platform.

The platform proactively removes any inappropriate content and, in cases of recurrent violations, terminates accounts that do not adhere to its Terms of Service and Community Guidelines in order to create a safer and more welcoming environment for its Bangladeshi community.

This is accomplished with the aid of a dedicated group of Bangladeshi natives who are conversant in the local language and culture as well as a sophisticated, cutting-edge machine-learning technology that automates the content moderation process.

The content moderation policy is designed to adhere to local public morals and public morals as well as the laws and regulations of the nation. The Safety Center on TikTok has made its debut in Bangladesh in a localized version. Bengali and English are the available languages. Both new and seasoned users can benefit from its tools and information for parents and other caregivers.

Users may find all the information they require in the Safety Centre, including a thorough Privacy Guide, New User Safety Guide, Guardian’s Guide, and resources on how to stay safe. TikTok and the youth platform YPF recently wrapped off their seven-month-long joint campaign titled “Safe Internet, Safe You” to promote safe internet use among Bangladeshi internet users.

Over the course of seven months, YPF and TikTok have organized a number of online seminars and sessions and built a community of more than 2000 registered participants from ten universities throughout six different regions of the nation.

The program has already held a number of sessions and workshops, reaching over 1500 people on social media, over 2600 people directly, and about 500K people indirectly through the workshops. The hashtags #SafeAmiDigitally, #LetsTokSafety, and #SafeOnSocials were used in the campaign to encourage young people to use the internet responsibly.
