Titanic bound submersible with 5 on board goes off…!

There had been no signs of the Titan Submersible for over 12 hours, since the last noise was heard. There was little information provided by the US coast guard with regard to the missing vessel and its five crew members.

Since hearing noises through a dropping buoy, by a Canadian plane, remote operated vehicles have been dispatched for assistance, however resulted in no positive outcome. The noises heard was considered inconclusive, informed Capt. Jamie Frederick.

Noises picked up by Canadian flights, described as “banging noises” was heard on Tuesday and Wednesday, Wood Hole Oceanographic institute Carl Hartsfield informed.

He added that the ocean is a very large body of water and obviously there are so many noises made by various sources. It is difficult to distinguish them and their origin at this moment. However, the personnel involved in interpreting the sounds and data are among the most highly trained in the world.

The oxygen supply on board the vessel is said to expire as early as Thursday morning. An interview was declined by the company owning the missing submersible Ocean Gate Expeditions, on Wednesday morning.

The CEO of the company is one of the five individuals on board the missing vessel. Ocean Gate Expeditions, a under water exploration company, with a number of successful missions in the past.

French ROV operators are on route to the location from St. John’s, efforts are to be doubled in the next 24 hours as the number of assets searching is to increase from five to ten.

Co-founder and chairman of Horizon Maritime, Sean Leet, whose vessel Polar Prince is contracted to tow the Titan out to sea — said that the company runs an extremely safe operation. Right now, our main focus is to locate the submersible and safely bringing the crew back home.

The Polar Prince had constant contact with the Titan up until communications severed on Sunday, one hour and 45 minutes in to the dive. There was no indication of distress at any point. Lee said. All regular rules and protocols were followed for the mission.
