Tokyo Olympics: Heartbreak for India as men’s hockey team lose to Belgium 2-5

The Olympics is knows to be the arena of a sportsman or sportswoman’s heartbreak. This is so because you are competing with the best of the best and someone will win whilst another loses. The loss came as absolute shock and heart break when in a breathless game, India lost to Belgium 2-5 in the semifinals of the men’s hockey event in Tokyo Olympics. If India had won, they would have secured a place in the Olympic finals, and, with it, a medal for the first time in 41 years. India can still win a bronze medal in the playoffs, but the grand dreams of gold have come crashing down.
