We chose three primary business pillars that we would adhere to when we launched our modest, family-owned company in 2014. First and foremost was quality. With expertise in producing women’s clothing and a desire to outfit our furry family members in attire we would wear ourselves, this was a primary priority. The second was fun design. To be completely honest, we weren’t sure whether Dog Threads would ever be a serious company, so we chose to have fun with it from the beginning, choosing patterns and looks that we knew would please both people and their canines.
Third on the list was transparent design and production. As essential as quality and design are, we firmly believe that customers can better understand and relate to your company’s beliefs and mission by knowing where and how your garments are designed and made.

Since Ahmed and Ashley (the creators of Lucy & Co.), who also carry Dog Threads in their incredible online store, are also friends, we must admit that we may be a bit biased. Having said that, we are absolutely smitten with their puffer vests.
