In Bengaluru the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have cracked down on a high-profile rave party at a farmhouse close to Electronic City, uncovering a drug ring and making many arrests. Hyderabad-based Vasu organized the party at GR Farm House and saw over 100 attendees from Andhra Pradesh and Bengaluru, including DJs, models, and techies. The event, billed as a sunset-to-sunrise party, featured popular DJs such as BLOODY MASCARA, KAYVEE, and RABZ.

During a raid, the CCB seized a significant amount of MDMA pills and cocaine, leading to the arrest of 5 people, including the organizer Vasu and three drug peddlers. At the venue, the police also discovered 45 grams of drugs. Adding to the intrigue, the raid yielded an Andhra MLA’s passport which belongs to Kakani Govardhana Reddy found inside a Mercedes-Benz that was parked at the farmhouse. At that location, more than fifteen high-end cars, including a Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, and Audi, were also present.

The event, which involved substantial investments valued at Rs 30 to 50 lakh, drew attendees from Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the scale of the operation. The farmhouse, owned by Gopala Reddy of Concorde, was reported that it was rented for an extravagant party. The Electronic City Police Station has registered a case, and investigations are happening to recognize and apprehend all the individuals who are involved. The police are also inspecting the venue and working towards tracing the source of the narcotics. This incident highlights the increasing issues of drug use and illegal parties in Bengaluru. The CCB’s action sends a strong message that such activities will not be accepted, and more investigations are expected to shed more light on the extent of the network involved. In the aftermath of the raid, five people, including the party organizer and three alleged drug peddlers, were taken into custody. The seized drugs and the arrests have led to the registration of a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and Section 268 of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with public issues. According to police sources, the operation went on for more than six hours. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams are continuously examining the site to gather more evidence. Further investigations are ongoing
