(Commonwealth Union) – Long before Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States of America, he was a well-known and respected Businessmen. So, to say he knew a thing or two about the way certain thigs should be is more than just true. The man has certain standards and one can speculate that those standards have now turned into expectations. Trump was used to a lavish lifestyle way before he was a head of state and still continued to live a lavish life even after he left his post as President.
He made millions in his many business ventures and also on his TV show, called the Apprentice, that kept viewers glued to their seat. Now one might think that he was being a little entitled when he threw in to a fit when he was kept waiting at an airport because of some unforeseen delay, but to be fair the man is so used to flying private the fact that his private plane couldn’t take off was also a slight issue for him. The argument was that the fact that he was flying private but still stuck in the airport like he was flying commercial.
Donald Trump has said some very controversial things whilst in office as well as before and after so when he had a fit about this it didn’t come as news. However, it was what he said to one of the media people there was a little shocking. When he was at the airport waiting to go speak to a rally in Texas on his private plane ‘Trump Force One’ there was a frenzy of media as well as his ardent supporters and followers. So, Trump put on the show they all wanted where he claimed verbatim that he was stuck in a “airport that was a dirty and crowded mess.” He also spoke on the fact that ticket prices have tripled and that he himself could not understand how this was happening as America was not financially that badly off as a country.
To be fair, his accusations were not completely false since there was a delay at the airport where he was stranded at because there was a lack of air traffic controllers as well as the air line not having enough pilots. The airport in general was suffering without staff to keep it clean. However, the lack of staff was there long before Trump came in and pointed it out.
