UK housing market expected to cool down, despite record increase in prices

LONDON (CU)_During the first half of this year, homes buyers in the UK were racing against the clock to beat the partial end of the stamp duty holiday in June, following which, there was a slight dip in house prices in the European nation. Although, many believed that the tax break was responsible for the mini boom in the housing market, property values appear to have aggressively recovered since then, reaching an all-time high in October.
