UK to ditch social distancing rule?

LONDON (CU)_ As Britain’s roadmap to end lockdown restrictions continues to unravel, the country is on course to lift social distancing regulations by the end of next month, Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed on Monday (3 May).

 “I think we’ve got a good chance, a good chance, of being able to dispense with one-metre plus,” the Prime Minister said during a campaign visit in northern England. This one-metre plus rule refers to the regulations requiring people to stay at least one metre apart, as part of the measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.
