LONDON (CU)_Over the past few weeks, several western super powers, including the US, the UK and the EU have imposed sanctions on over 1,000 Russian individuals and entities in response to Moscow’s aggression in Ukraine. The embargoes were aimed at crippling the Russian economy, as hundreds of global firms shut down operations in the transcontinental nation. Speaking to the Sunday Telegraph over the weekend, Britain’s Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said that the sanctions could come off subject to certain conditions.
