(Commonwealth Union)_ On the ninth anniversary of Paul Walker’s passing, his Fast & Furious co-star and best friend Vin Diesel posted a heartfelt tribute to the late actor. Vin Diesel posted a throwback photo of himself and Paul Walker and wrote: “Nine years… Love you and miss you.” Paul Walker’s loving daughter, Meadow Walker, reacted to Vin Diesel’s status update, writing: “Family forever”. In another post, she added, “I love you so so much.”
Paul Walker passed away in 2013 following a terrible car accident. He featured alongside Vin Diesel in the first six of the nine Fast and Furious films, and the actor was only 40 when he died. In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Meadow Walker also paid tribute to her late father. She posted a throwback photo with her father Paul Walker and captioned it as, “9 years without you. I love you so much my angel.”
Meadow Walker also recalled her father on his birth anniversary in September, in the following post. This year, on Paul Walker’s birthday, Meadow posted an adorable throwback photo of her father with the caption, “Happy birthday to my best friend and twin soul. I love you forever and miss you every day.” Vin Diesel is the godfather of Meadow Walker, and he also escorted her down the aisle at her wedding in October 2021. Meadow Walker is a model by profession, and she married actor Louis Thornton-Allan in a private wedding.
Walker was shooting for Furious 7 when he passed away, and his brothers Caleb and Cody replaced him in the film only after several rewrites. The director wrote: “Paul, I didn’t know you as long as the other Fast family members, but in the short period I knew you, you made a huge impact on me. You’re an inspiration, and you’ll always be missed.” With a series of off-screen images taken from the sets of Furious 7, he paid Walker his respects.
