Warwick Hotels and Resorts announced that they are all fully vaccinated businesses earlier in the week.

These hotels include Warwick Fiji, The Naviti Resort, Tambua Sands Beach Resorts at the Coral Coast and Tokatoka Hotel in Nadi. This makes is a lot easier for travellers to make bookings and also to be in a safe environment.

They now have the Care Fiji Commitment’s 100 per cent Vaccination stamps which were provided by Tourism Fiji after all the current employees were fully vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine. This was an important first step as most travellers are vaccinated they tend to stay at hotels where the staff is also vaccinated.

The 100 per cent vaccination stamp is an add-on feature to Tourism Fiji’s Care Fiji Commitment programme which was implemented to priorities health and safety measures and aligns with global safe travel best practise. This comes at a crucial time and is also a huge achievement by the Resort chain.

Senior vice president and executive director Pacific, Tammie Tam said: “We, at the Warwick group, are committed to provide a safe environment to our guests and staff. Our president, Mr Richard Chiu, was the first one leading the Warwick group colleagues to get vaccinated in January 2021 in Paris. In Fiji, we are grateful that our staff recognise the Government’s effort in protecting the population and have come forward to get vaccinated. Together with other tourism partners, we will bring happiness back to our workers and visitors and revive the Fijian economy. We are looking forward to reopening the Warwick Fiji on 8 October and Tokatoka Resort on 6 October to our local guests and later this year to welcome the international travellers. Naviti Resort and Tambua Sands will come on board at a later date. Exciting offers will be out for sale soon.”
