‘We want a buy, make and sell policy in Britain’: Labour’s pledge to reverse decline in manufacturing

BURNLEY, Lancashire (CU)_The leader of the United Kingdom’s Labour Party Keir Starmer on Tuesday toured the north-west of England, during which he paid a visit to What More UK, one of the largest houseware manufacturers in the country. He was joined by Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Lisa Nandy, as took a full tour of the whole operation headquartered in Burnley. They spoke with many factory workers of What More, as part of a fact finding tour to discuss building the prosperity of Britain through manufacturing.
