The Global Task Force on Pandemic Response is a newly created global COVID mission which is a public-private collaboration in the US led by the United States Chamber of Commerce and backed by Business Roundtable. This mission works in collaboration with the US-India Business Council and the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum to address urgent issues related to COVID-19 battle in India.
The recent entrees to this mission are the three Indian-American CEOs who are ruling the digital world. Google’s Sunder Pichai, Deloitte’s Punit Renjen, and Adobe’s Shantanu Narayen have recently made their entry into the active mission of Global Task Force on Pandemic Response, which is monitoring the efforts and contributions from the private sector to help India effectively battle COVID19. Thus far, over 25,000 oxygen concentrators have been pledged by the US corporate sector for India. Deloitte delivered the first 1,000 oxygen concentrators to India on April 25, with FedEx providing vital logistical support.
