NEPAL (Commonwealth Union) – Nepal has always been a hidden gem when it comes to the tourist scene. Since it has not had a colorful night life like its counterparts such as Bali or Singapore, Nepal was not the first tourist destination that was chosen.
But of course, there is a difference the counterpart in Asian sector tourism has very active night lives. There are bars, clubs, restaurants even coffee houses that are open well into the wee hours of the morning. This means that tourist have things to do when the sun goes down. The question is did you even have a holiday if you didn’t watch the sunrise after a night out? The Asian sector of tourist are usually very young and very energetic. Which means they are looking to go to countries that have active night lives so that they can get the maximum enjoyment of their holidays.
Of course, we understand that there are cultural hurdles many Asian countries have to deal with when it comes to such thing like clubs and bars. However, what the government has to understand is that this is the selling point. Offering people an eventful night time where they get to explore the city at night will help allure them to the country.
This has been in discussion for almost 10 years and the government has been going back and forth over this issue and never coming to a proper agreement. One would think that maybe the capitol of Nepal which is Kathmandu went on till late but the answer is no they don’t.
Nepal did extensive research on the situation with other Asian holiday destinations and found out that tourists visit more often because of the night life. This meant that Nepal had to make a decision regarding the nightlife and if they wanted to take a more liberal approach to improve the number of tourists coming in.
